The organ project began in 1993 with a goal of having an instrument worthy to proclaim the Word of the Lord through music.

The organ at St. Matthew's was finished in 2001 and has 3196 pipes over 55 ranks. The organ was the final addition to an overall renovation of the worship space.

The goal of this pipe organ is to glorify God by supporting congregational singing, accompanying choirs and soloists, as well as presenting concerts.
