El Salvador is host to beautiful flora such as the mangrove, rubber, dogwood, mahogany, cedar, walnut, pine and oak trees. These are all woods that are treasured for their beautiful grain and finish.Balsam is the medicinal gum plant along with orchid trees that is grown within the country in abundance. It is the tropical temperatures that promote the growth of these wonderful plants. El Salvador experiences both wet and dry seasons. The areas near the pacific ocean are experience humid conditions while the mountainous regions experience a cooler climate. It is the mixture of the climate, plants and animals that lend El Salvador such an exotic feel.
