A hero in history is Abraham Lincoln, who not only freed the slaves, keeps American together. The Civil War killed more than 600,000 people in America, because of Civil Rights. If it wasn't for Mr. Lincoln, who knows what kind of society we'd be living in. He is a hero for saving many lives, and standing up to protect the nation.
