When a student was hit by a car and got stuck under the car at the parking lot of Sacramento's Valley High School, the school baseball team ran over the fences to help. They lifted up the car together, and the student was able to get to the hospital faster.
James Persyn III was home alone, babysitting his two siblings when he heard a banging on the door. A woman, covered with clear tape and bruises, tells James that she had been raped and escaped. Frightened, but James let her in. He took a kitchen knife for defense. The rapist, Eric Ramsey, kept banging on the door, but since no one answers the door, he pouring gasoline on the house and setting it ablaze. Luckily, the police came on time, saving them from the fire.
