The site is designed to provide students and families with the most current and important information regarding school news, events, programs, and notices. There are photo galleries and video archives that highlight all of the wonderful things happening here at Applegate throughout the year. I hope you will take the time to explore the site and share the video and photo galleries with friends and family to keep them apprised of the wonderful educational opportunities and experiences your child is participating in here at Applegate.

As supervisor of Applegate School, one of my primary responsibilities is working with teachers to implement the latest curriculum and instruction initiatives, which currently involves the alignment with the Common Core State Standards. I also work closely with the entire staff to continually review, refine and improve our existing educational programs and services. We are fortunate to offer students a variety of resources for use in both the classroom and at home that are designed to enhance learning and improve overall student performance. Programs such as Study Island, Pearson SuccessNet, Gizmos, Reflex Math, and Fast ForWord are just a few examples of the many supplementary programs currently being used by students to complement their classroom learning.
