1. Cells- The smallest functional structure of an organism.
2. Complex Organization- Different structures that come together to make one.
3. Metabolism- the process that occurs in order for an organism to maintain life.
4. Homeostasis- the process of an organism regulating its internal conditions.
5. Heredity/Reproduction- the passing of DNA to offspring.
6. Responsiveness-reaction to different situations.(plant to sunlight)
7. Growth- the act of getting bigger and stronger.
8. Adapt to Environment- changing to surroundings based on an environment.
