In San Nicolas Island native people used to live there.San Nicolas is located in Santa Barbara Channel 75 miles west of Los Angeles. A woman called Juana Maria was part of history in San Nicolas Island,and she was very especial because she was helpful and she was the only women that survived in San Nicolas.The San Nicolas Island is controlled by the U.S.A navy.The San Nicolas Island was the home of the Nicoleno people. The San Nicolas Island was named after Sebastian Vizcaino.
