Biography

Scott O’Dell was born in May 23,1898 and he died in October 15,1989 at age 91.He was born on Terminal Island in Los Angeles. During world war 2 he attended the U.S. Air Force. In 1934 Scott began writing articles and in 1950 he began writing books for children. Scott O’Dell wrote books for children in the years 1934-1989.He only took class that helped him in his writing career and that interested him.He was a cameraman for Hollywood he also worked in building stone walls,fish and travel.The favorite he liked to go was the sea.He traveled all over the world wherever he went he wrote about his trip and made it into a book.
