Type 1

Gaucher disease type 1 is the most common form of the disease. Symptoms include spleen and liver enlargement, bone problems and fatigue. which is treatable.

Type 2

is rare and involves severe brain stem abnormalities. It is usually fatal within the first 2 years, and it is currently untreatable.

Type 3

This type of Gaucher disease is rare in the United States and Europe; however, it is the most common form of the disease worldwide.shortened lifespan, some can live into their 50s with treatment.
