African Americans....
In the News

The latest story in the news this month is that Donald Sterling, former owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, was caught making several offensive and racist comments towards his basketball players. These comments outraged people nationwide, from the players to everyday civilians, even the President stopped to comment about them. As punishment for his crude remarks, Donald Sterling was banned from the game for life and fined nearly 2.5 million dollars.
Although this story talks more about Sterling than the African Americans involved, it talks of how one is being punished for racism. This shows that something is being done about it and it is being taken seriously. No one should get away with racism, not even big-time celebrities or corporation owners. This story proves that.
