Black Ships Before Troy

Chapter 8

Rain that was very red fell from the sky the day after Diomedes and Oddyseus killed King Rhesus. The Greeks were happy and celebrating their accomplishment. They met the Trojans at battle, arrows were falling and swords were killing. Aggememnon led a large charge in which many people died. Aggememnon killed two of Hectors brothers and the Greeks drove the Trojans back to the gate of the city. Aggememnon got a spear in his arm and had to go back to the ships. Hector got really mad and wanted to drive the Greeks back to the ships but Oddyseus and Diomedes stood against him. Diomedes threw a spear at Hectors head, but he was not hurt. He got back into his chariot, then Paris threw a spear and hits Diomedes' ankle.
