Perseverance

To me perseverance means to keep going and keep trying. Even when the odds are against you. For example, in a football game the score is 14-0 with little time left. Your team is losing and everybody gives up, except for you. That is what perseverance is to me. Because of that one person they go out and win the game in overtime.
