Mythical Beast Poem

Last night when I was sleeping
I heard a noise "thump thump"
A dictionary was creeping towards me
It spit out big words at my face.
I tried to stop it
But my vocabulary was no match for the dictionary
It started to use big words and threatened to eat me.
I even threatened to eat me in alphabetical order.
It came near like a lion stalking its prey.
With its synonyms of fear.
I woke up flicked on the light and it was just there.
A regular old dictionary.
