Biography

​Scott O'dell was born in May 23,1898 and when he died it was is in October 16,1989 he died at age 91. He wrote 26 novels for young people and 3 for adults. He also wrote 4 nonfiction books to learn. He wrote Island if the blue dolphins and earned a medal a year later it was published.

At world war ll he served the Air Force. He published an other book called " Zia" and it's a good book. He earned his Newbery award in the year 1961.
