1. How did you get to the Island of the Blue Dolphins originally?
I got to the island originally by a red ship.
2. When did you get there?
I was born on the island.
3. How old were you when you were left there?
I was twelve years old.
4. How did you end up being left there alone?
I ended up being alone because my father and brother died and also because my sister Ulape went to another island.
5. Did you ever try to leave the island? If so, how?
No I didn’t try to leave the island because I found a dog that I named Rontu.Then when I found Rontu I wasn’t alone anymore.
6. What was the island like? (physically)
The island was nice.
7. What was the weather like?
The weather was fine and very sunny.
8. Can you describe a typical day for you on the island?
One day we had an earthquack but it only did a little damage.

I always went with Rontu to
