FlowVella launches first of its kind mobile presentation video screen sharing app with Zoom.
SEATTLE-February 28, 2018-FlowVella, the mobile-first presentation app, teamed up with Zoom Video Communications, to launch FlowVella 5.5 with Zoom. Combining the ability to create and edit presentations on the go with the ability to share in a live video meeting, gives mobile workers and sales people increased productivity and convenience. As mobile phones and tablets are increasingly used for work, sales and marketing professionals will now feel confident in the ability to pitch to anyone, anywhere, whether in person or on video via Zoom.
Not only will sales and marketing professionals benefit, but managers and coaches will be able to manage their team like never before. Easily, managers and coaches can monitor and help their sales force with Zoom’s ability to record video meetings of FlowVella presentations. No longer will sales managers need to accompany sales reps during field training or ride alongs, saving time and money. Now they will have access to the meetings as they happen, and access to recorded video shortly after. Capturing video and audio of meetings including the actual presentation allows sales managers to more effectively coach their reps with actionable advice while sales representatives will be able to see their improvements over time. Enabling this feature might be the killer mobile sales enablement tool that has previously been missing from the market.
“We are excited to see the launch of the integration of the mobile-first presentation app FlowVella with Zoom,” said Thiya Ramalingam, Head of Platforms and Partnerships at Zoom. “This integration opens up new possibilities for mobile productivity and collaboration. Novel integrations such as this of Zoom into existing applications create new and valuable uses of reliable, frictionless video communications.”
Zoom was one of the fastest growing apps in 2017 according to reports from SaaS companies Zapier and Okta, and is lauded for its amazing quality, reliability and for being the best mobile video communications solution. With FlowVella’s focus on mobile first presentations, the combination should be welcome to the hordes of sales and marketing professionals who work in the field.
“We are thrilled to release the integration of Zoom in FlowVella”, said Brent Brookler, CEO of FlowVella. “We worked hard to make this integration simple and intuitive. We can’t wait to give mobile sales teams another productivity boost by leveraging our presentation tool and Zoom’s superior video communications solution.”
How It Works
The Zoom integration in FlowVella couldn’t be easier to use. You simply tap on the Zoom icon in FlowVella, login using your Zoom account and password and you’re ready to either join a meeting or start your own. When starting a meeting with a Zoom Pro account, it will automatically use your personal meeting ID. After starting a meeting, you will see a similar Zoom interface that exists in their iOS apps, however you’ll notice the addition of a ‘Launch Flow’ button which starts the current FlowVella presentation in full screen. Your viewers will see your face as well as the presentation, similar to the desktop experience. When you want to end the meeting, close the Flow, tap on the Zoom icon which takes you back to the Zoom interface, then tap the ‘End Meeting’ button.
If you want to take advantage of Zoom’s cloud video recording features, you will need to enable automatic recording of presentations on the Zoom website (zoom.us). While on the call, you can opt to turn off the recording and an icon shows you and your viewers that the call is being recorded.
