How to Make Your Flows Private
About a year ago, we wrote a post called Privacy, Publishing, and Sharing… but a lot has changed since then! We not only have two new apps (Mac and FlowVella Education) but we also have a new set of privacy features that make sharing your Flow safe for you, your friends, family, and students!
How to Change the Privacy Settings on iPad (FlowVella and FlowVella Education)
Tap on the Share or Post button on the My Flows home screen, or in the Edit Your Flow overview screen.
Fill in your details, such as title and description, then choose a privacy option. By default, we allow anyone to see your Flow. You can also choose to allow only those with your specific URL to see it, add a password (for Premium Subscribers only), or make it so that only you can see it.
You can also allow others to duplicate and edit your Flow, which we’ve covered in more detail here.
When you’re done filling out your details, select next, and your Flow will be posted. You can change your details and settings at anytime by tapping on the Post or Share button.
How to Change the Privacy Settings on the Mac App
Click on the Share or Post button on the My Flow home screen, or in the toolbar when editing a Flow.
Fill in your details, such as title and description, then choose a privacy option. By default, we allow anyone to see your Flow. You can also choose to allow only those with your specific URL to see it, add a password (for Premium Subscribers only), or make it so that only you can see it.
You can also allow others to duplicate and edit your Flow by checking the box, which we’ve covered in more detail here.
When you’re done filling out your details, select next, and your Flow will be posted. You can change your details and settings at anytime by tapping on the Post or Share button again.
We hope that helps clear up any confusion about the privacy settings included in FlowVella, and what each setting means. If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to ask in the comments below, or via email anytime!
