Rights of the accused 5th, 6th and 14th amendments.
Ernesto Miranda was accused of raping and kidnapping and robbery.
Miranda was not given his rights before questioning, therefore this case went to the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court ruled five to four decision by earl warren, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
Miranda rights "were the rights given to remain silent.
