TENDONITIS
CAUSE
HOW COMMON?
Tendonitis is fairly common in children. The prevalence increases with age. Some kinds are more common in men than in women, and vise versa.
The most common cause is repetitive action. Tendonitis can also result from injury, aging, and certain diseases.
DIAGNOSIS
SYMPTOMS
X-rays may be taken to see if the Tendonitis could be something else. The doctor will do an exam on the effected area to check the mobility.
-Stiffness
-Swelling
-Tenderness
-Weakness
