The Crunchy Crawfish

Ahhhh! Nothing like sitting in a boiling pot of water in the bayou. Suddenly the silence was ruined by a giant pair of sticks grabbing me out of the water. (fingers) Then I was shoved into a dark cave that closed up. (mouth) I started to get chomped up by huge white boulders, crushing me from every side. (teeth) Then water started rushing in to the cave from the ceiling an the ground. (salivary glands) Then a huge slimy monster picked me up and pushed me through a hole. (tongue) Then I got squeezed into a tube that was pushing down into the darkness. (esophagus, peristalsis) Then I was dropped into another cave, but this one was a lot bigger. (stomach) Ouch! All of a sudden I splashed into a burning pool of water. (gastric juices, chemical digestion) The everything got still and the cave started to rumble I was being sloshed around like mouthwash. (churning, mechanical digestion) Then I was squirted out of the water filled cave, and pushed into another tube! (small intestines) Then I thought I was safe but all of a sudden a bunch of liquid squirted into the tube. (bile, gall bladder, pancreas, liver) As I was getting pushed further down in the tube there these finger like projections lining the tube. (villi) Them I came to the end of the tube, and I was pushed into an even bigger one. (large intestines) Finally, I was done being pushed around in a bunch of tubes, and I came to what seemed to be a storage tank. (rectum) Then the walls started to rumble and I was getting pushed down further and further into the storage tank. Then I started to get joined with other foods and we were all clumped up in one ball. (feces) Then I finally got squeezed out of the last hole and landed in the swimming pool. (anus, toilet)
