Function
- food producers of the cell. Only found in plant cells, create sugars and oxygen

Structure
- the storms is the area inside the chloroplast and chlorophyll makes sugar. One thylakoids stack is called a granum. Lumen are the discs that make up the granum. The stacks are connected by stromal lamellea.
