Venus fly trap

The Venus fly trap eats flies so they can live. They are carnivorous plants. Their scientific name is Dionaea Mucsipula. They belong to the plant family Droseraceae. Their mouth looks like leaf. They drink water by opening their mouth when the rainforest rains so they can drink water.
They have to eat plants because their is no nutriences in the soil so they have to eat bugs.
