Summer

Winter

Spring

Spring is where the Sun isn't directly lighting the Earth. Where the Northern Hemisphere has Spring, the Southern has Fall. Spring brings back vegetation after the long and cold Winter.

Fall, or Autumn, is the other season that has equalized direct sunlight, opposite of Spring. This is when the leaves change color.

Fall

The Summer Solstice is the name for the first day of Summer

You'll hear the term The dog days of summer very often, but the real dog days refers to the days between July 3rd and August 11th.

In the northern hemisphere in winter we are closest to the sun. We are tilted away from the sun
