Aged 29 - Stabbed to death, rumoured to have been stabbed either due to his arrest or claims he was homosexual

Born in Canterbury to shoemakers John and Catherine Marlowe
Attended the Corporus Chrsti Collage where be received a Bachelors Of Arts Degree in 1584

The sequence of his writings all talk about controversial issues such as the Jew of Malta and Edward the Second, The Massacre at Paris and Doctor Faustus
He was an extremely controversial figure as he was quite rebellious
His blasphemy was considered extremely outrageous for the times as he was very open about his atheism
There were claims that he was a spy for the government and was seeking out people who were practicing the wrong religion at the time.
