Slavery Justified - 1854
This was a document written by George Fitzhugh claiming that slavery was a "positive good". He also state that Southern Slavery had better treatment than Factory Workers of the North. Making that the reason why the South was more peaceful then the North. Even though Fitzhugh supported the Confederacy during the war, he believed that slavery would not survive in an industrialized country.
