Islam is one of the world's largest religions. Islam teaches than one can only find peace by submitting to the Almighty God (Allah) in heart, soul, and deed. Muslims are strictly monotheistic. They believe in only one God, and any worships or prayers directed towards anyone else is considered idolatry.
The Quran is the sacred text of Islam. It contains the teachings of the Prophet that we're revealed to him from Allah.
Some Islamic holidays and celebrations are Ramadan, Eid Al-Ftri, and Eid Al-Adha. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. During this month, Muslims participate in pious activities. Eid Al-Fitri is a joyous celebration at the end of Ramadan. Eid Al-Adha remembers the prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice for Allah. In this celebration, Muslims sacrifice a sheep and share it with their family, friends, and the poor.
