Virus Flowchart

By Beth Stewart

S

You go to the movie and get sneezed on by a lady with the flu.

The flue virus went into my nose where it latched onto my nose hairs, also known as the cilias.

The Influenza Cell latches onto the throat cell. The mucus helps the virus move further from the throat.

The flu virus pretends to be the biomolecule protein, to gain entry into the cell.

The interleukins create a fever to warn you to slow down.

The T cells and B cells get asked whether they remember this infection before.

Don't take painkillers if fever is under 101, because the white blood cells/macrophages are eating and fighting against the virus and the painkillers would give the virus another chance of growing and taking over.

The killer T cells will help kill the virus, and after it's been killed you aren't infected anymore and the virus is out of your body and searching for a new host.
