Where it was invented

~ The Motorwagon was made in Mannheim Germany and was patented on January 29 1886. Benz began to sell his automobile in that city out of his warehouse in the late summer of the year 1888.

What did it replace?

~ The Motorwagon replaced horse carriages and bicycle that got people around automobiles were also cheaper and much more convenient then horse carriages and a bicycle

Benefits

~ People saw many benefits, it was by far a faster way to travel it was cheaper and people could travel farther distances in a shorter amount of time, it also had a gas powered engine.

Impact of life today

~ Automobiles have improved a lot since then and is the number one way of travel. It is still cheaper then other ways of travel such as a plane. And takes people farther and even faster today like it did in the past
