Seasonal Affective Disorder (also called SAD) is a type of depression that occurs at the same time every year. If your like most people your symptoms start in the fall and continue into the winter months, causing lack of energy and making you feel moody. It is associated with the lack of day light that occurs. In rare cases , SAD has a reverse seasonal pattern with depression occurring only during the summer months .
