Color representation...BLUE
The color that represents the whole of Atticus is the color blue. Blue is a color representing stability, loyalty, and trust. These are all attributes that Atticus possesses.
_[Atticus to Scout ] I certainly am. I do my best to love everybody… I’m hard put, sometimes—baby, it’s never an insult to be called what somebody thinks is a bad name. It just shows you how poor that person is, it doesn’t hurt you. So don’t let Mrs. Dubose get you down. She has enough troubles of her own." (Lee,109)
This quote explains how he is loyal to his opinions and trustworthy of his children which are both characteristics of the color blue. Blue greatly represents Atticus and his mood throughout the book.
