The Plummer Auditorium is located on 201 E. Chapman Avenue. It was designed by architect Carlton M. Winslow. The Auditorium was named for Louis E. Plummer, Superintendent of Fullerton High School and Junior High from 1919 to 1941. The building was planned for several years before 1930 by the city's leading citizens. It was constructed for $295,500 in 1930. Inside, it can seat over 1,300 people for events like recitals. There is also a high school right next to it. Once, two of the kids from the school decided to have some fun. They put a cow in the tower. When the principal of the school found out, she tried to take it out. But she gave up in a couple of minutes. Then she hired a man to get it out. The man used ropes and finally got it out.
