One of the main geographical features is in in the north where there are sandy beaches and jagged chalk and sandstone cliffs. 7 million present-day Israelis live here because of the urban centers due to its deep-water harbors and and agriculture.

There is an area located south of the northern features to the left that slowly becomes more sparse when moving southward. This area is known as the Negev. The Negev has an arid climate, and it's terrain consists of bare rough peaks, craters, and rock-strewn plateaus.

The Jordan River provides agricultural growth for Palestine in the east. Rivers meant that settlements could be planted there due to its fertile soil. This place is called the Jordan River Valley and the Arava.
Hula Valley is an area where the Jordan River runs through. The location supports agricultural growth and its picture is the bottom right.
