"A Dream" -Common & "I have a dream" -MLK Jr.

One thing that is similar about "A Dream" by Common and "I have a dream" speech by MLK jr. is that they both talk about how racial injustice is a dark road to go through.

"Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlight path of racial justice."

"In search of brighter days, I ride through the maze of the madness. Struggle is my address, where pain and crack lives."

This two quotes explain that racial injustice hurts and is dark. They have to find a way to make tomorrow better,a reason to not give up and they will find that.
