Chapter 5
After Paris disappeared, a Trojan prince named Pandarus, was made to shoot Menelaus so that the truce would be broken. The war broke out and was fought fiercely by both sides. Menelaus was wounded, but he didn't die. A soothsayer tells Hector to leave the battlefield to ask Thetis to make an offering to Athena so the battle will go better for the Trojans. Thetis makes the offering to Athena.
