How does acting behind the scenes for a commercial compare and contrast for acting for television or acting on stage?

I chose this essential question as my main question because it applies to my future, and since I have a background in theatre I thought it would help me achieve my challenge and solution with a better understanding of what to do. Acting for a commercial just like acting for TV and on stage takes preparation, but you can make mistakes and correct them (like acting for TV) before you share it with an audience. Whereas acting on stage you cannot, you get one chance.
