What is the Cause of Diabetes Type 1?
Diabetes is caused when someone digests an excessive amount of glucose (sugar). Diabetes is autosomal dominant, not sex-linked, and also is disjunction.
Facts About Diabetes Type 1:
-Diabetes can occur in anyone (adults and children).
- Both men and women can develop diabetes.
-Diabetes type 1 normally develops in young people.
Symptoms of Diabetes Type 1 and What it Does to the Human Body:
Some symptoms of diabetes type 1 include being very thirsty, feeling very hungry and losing weight without trying.
Treatments for Diabetes Type 1:
-Taking medicines by mouth, taking shots/injections of insulin, being physically active, controlling blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
Testing and Screening for Diabetes Type 1:
-People prick their fingers with a blood sample in order to see if they have diabetes. People with diabetes must do this testing several times everyday or use a glucose monitor.
