The nile and water conservation
In Ancient Egypt the Pharaoh was an absolute monarch, but still relied on a bureaucracy. The Pharaoh is in complete control of land/resources and is a military commander. Egypt's planned economy was an economic system where the government, rather than the free market, determined how much should be produced and the price at which the goods would be offered for sale. In Ancient Egypt there were three kingdoms: The Old Kingdom (2686-2181 BC), The Middle Kingdom (2134-1690 BC), and The New Kingdom (1549-1069 BC). During those kingdoms there were new rulers, reopenings, religious happenings, and the creation of the first step pyramid. In Egyptian religion, Gods controlled everything from the flood of the Nile to the death of their child. The flood of the nile brings me to my next subject.
