In 1973 the brand announced a revolutionary perfume which is still sought after by women of all ages, for its youthful scent. In the 1980s the brand transitioned from a drug store brand to one of the top mass-market beauty brands. In the 1990s revlon debuted its ColorStay collection. The ColorStay line soon became the #1 long wear brand and has remained that way ever since. In the 2000s renowned makeup artist Gucci Westman joined as Global Artist Director.
