as strange as it sounds humans have marked up the desert with tracks. these tracks scar the desert for long periods of time. because of this the plant life is affected.

- temperatures rise in the day and drop very low at night

- the sahara desert is the largest desert in the desert biome

- the vegitation is very short so most of the wild life in the desert is also short

- dust storms are common in the desert

-it gets so hot in some deserts that the rain evaporates before it even hits the ground
