In Crucifixus, this piece has challenged my voice and body through breath control. The phrases are long, making sure we are all blended by listening within your part as well as all the other parts and breathing at the right times is definitely challenging. I love when one of the eight parts all have separate entrances, (polyphony), it reminds me of a sea of waves, while every entrance feels intense.
