Nelson Mandela served as South Africa's first black president. Even though he knew it was hard to forgive, he still did knowing that it was best for him. People make mistakes in life and sometimes those mistakes can be crucial. Nelson Mandela chose to forgive rather then oppress which will never be forgotten.
