Alzheimer's:
A progressive disease that destroys memory and other important mental functions.

Treatments:
There are only 4 treatments approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. They are Donepezil(Aricept®), Rivastigmine(Excelon®), Galantamine(Razadyne®), and Mematine(Nameda®). Only Mematine is used for more severe cases of Alzheimer's.

Symptoms:

-psychological paranoia, hallucinations, and depression

Tests- there is no specific test for Alzheimer's, doctors are still trying to find out how to immediately tell if a patient has it. To know for sure, a patient must go through a symptoms check and many memory tests.
