Daniel Morgan was an American pioneer, soldier, and United States Representative from Virginia. One of the most gifted battlefield tacticians of the American Revolutionary War, he later commanded troops.

Benedict Arnold was a general during the American Revolutionary War who originally fought for the American Continental Army but defected to the British Army.

Horatio Lloyd Gates was a retired British soldier who served as an American general during the Revolutionary War.
