When Bruno arrived the next day, Shmuel had brought him a pair of striped pajamas to where while he was inside the fence. Bruno put on the pajamas and went under the fence. They searched for a couple hours, but couldn't find him. All of a sudden he heard an alarm, and the soldiers started lining up all of the people in the striped pajamas. They were brought into a dark room. Bruno told Shmuel that he was sorry that they couldn't find his father. Shmuel said that it was ok. Bruno also said that Shmuel was his best friend for life. But before Shmuel could say anything, the soldiers closed the door and the people who were inside, we're never heard from again.
