France Joins America
A Disgrace
Spirits Were Raised
As the Americans gained victory over more battles the French were convinced to fight with America, and become America's ally.
After the battle, General John Burgoyne returned to England, realizing he had no chance against the Americans, and was proved as a disgrace.
The Americans morals were lifted. They thought they had a chance of winning. This convinced many people living in the colonies to join the war alongside the Americans.
