Alpine plants have different adaptations and features that help survive their environment. Those plants are Alpine Phacelia, Bear Grass, Bristlecone Pine, Moss Campion, Polylepis Forest, Pygmy Bitterroot, and Wild Potato.

The Wild Potato has a hard shell to protect from storms. The Polylepis Forest has water storage for the unsteady rain.
