Harry Houdini died of a sucker punch to the gut by a man named J. Gordon Whitehead, a pro boxer in the 20's.
Whitehead caught him unaware and punched him four times back to back. Houdini died because it aggravated an existing pain, or started a new one.Either way, he died of Peritonitis, Appendicitis on October 31,1926.
