When confronted about any issue large or small, whether it is conscious or not, we use ethics. Finding the solution to a problem, asking someone to pass the salt, or justifying a question you have to answer for a class. Without ethics, we would be lost. There would be no humor if no one had any wits about them. Our function as human beings would be gone and we would lose our drive for happiness. This is why it is imparitive that we know about, understand, and use ethics in today's society.
