Would you like to know about plate tectonics? They are the Earth or rocks that move and create earthquakes when they collide with each other. They also make earthquakes when they keep adding pressure then one day one of them snap and sink under the other plate tectonic and cause two types of seismic waves. The first wave released is called the P wave, and the second wave released is called the S wave. The movement of plate tectonics don't just make earthquakes. They also make mountains bigger, ocean trenches and continental drift. Speaking of continental drift, the USA is getting farther from Asia and is now getting closer to England. More things being caused by plate tectonics or more evidence, the Atlantic is growing and the Pacific is shrinking. The theory of plate tectonics is supported by the evidence of mountains, earthquakes, and continental drift.
