Direct relations to the novel

In 1925 the American myth changed to 'go eastern' - which represents Nick's movement: he starts in the Midwest (solid, nothing fake) then moves east to sell bonds and make money.

Gatsby undergoes these same movements.

This shift is represented in the novel with the divide between West Egg and East Egg, and also demonstrates how Nick and Gatsby are early pioneers.
